We are ordinary people who try not to take ourselves too seriously. Come and join us! We gather casually, engage the world passionately, and support each other in spite of our shortcomings. As a community, we do our best to keep God and our neighbor at the center of who we are and what we do. We try not to get stuck in what the “right” or the “wrong” way is to do church. We are just doing it!
In a lot of ways River of Joy is back-to-the-basics traditional, and in other ways you might say we are cutting edge. Mostly, we are just a collection of people from Prior Lake, Credit River, Lakeville, Savage, and Shakopee (MN) who are making a go of life together with Jesus as a model for living. Read More
